In Spanish, and in many Spanish speaking countries, "nene" is a term of endearment used for males.

It can be used towards each other amongst lovers or friends with affection or even towards strangers with flirtation.

Our debut underwear collection is an homage to that “nene” within all men.

Made by hand using the highest quality textiles. They are sexy. They are fun.

These are “undies for the boy inside you.”

Go play nene!

A boy, or a hot guy.

nene:

“In every real man a boy is hidden that wants to play.”

-Friedrich Nietzsche

The founding nene:

Born in Puerto Rico to Cuban immigrants, Efrén Sánchez eventually moved to NYC and graduated from the Parsons School of Design.

This is what nene means to him: “Everyone used to call my Cuban grandpa “viejo nene” (old nene). He lived until his 90’s and he died a nene.

He was naughty and fun. Colloquially in many Spanish speaking countries nene is a term of endearment used for a boy. However, where I come from you can be a nene your whole life. Is all about how you feel. Age doesn’t take this away from you. We all have that nene inside that’s curious, playful and mischievous. Now in my forties, I wanted to create a line of high quality, handmade men’s underwear to indulge that nene within me.

So if you feel that nene inside you also, whether your 15 or 75, I invite you to dress him. Even if ever so scantily…

These are undies for the boy inside you.

Go play nene!
